I would like to introduce you to my beautiful up-cycled bottle lamps, a unique and unusual gift idea, an eye-catching vision of splendour, made to garnish and feature in any home.
So, here’s the deal: the bottles are thoroughly cleaned, drilled and filled with mains powered bright LED string lights on a fine copper wire with a USB cable that has to be connected to a mains plug. (This isn’t included; I’m sure you’ll have one at home somewhere already.)
The cable is about a metre (100cm) long.
I’m sure that you may already have a picture in your mind of where you could see a light like this in your home?
As well as that, this is the perfect, personalised gift for a birthday, Christmas, Valentine’s, anniversaries, you name it.
So, what’s great about the bottles apart from their sumptuous look?

I came across Kamila’s lamps when a friend guided me towards the lights. At first I thought that this was just another basic lamp catalogue but when I delved further I realised that this was a brilliant and special approach to decorating the home, a novel and ingenious way of adding warmth love and light to anyone’s life, a great option for me personally and also for birthday, Christmas and wedding presents, or any occasion really.
The first bottle I bought was a gift; the shades without the lamp were soothing but with the light everything just stood out. The combination of the colours and their impact was a like a kaleidoscope of warmth.
Following this I gifted more bottles, tailoring the choice of bottle to the recipient. If they liked gin, then it was a gin bottle, if they loved a malt, ditto. You see what I mean. The choice of brand and colour was mine; I could use one on offer or supply my own bottle. This is what I did for my own special lamp.
On my 21st birthday I was given a special bottle of Armagnac VSOP by my friends at S A Condom, my rugby club in France. To this day I kept the bottle (a litre and a half, now empty) with its personal inscription on the label and then I asked Kamila if she could add her magic and make this into a lamp. Lo and behold the result sits in my lounge with great pride. It is a work of beauty, it is a great memory and it is a lifelong reminder of my life and friends in France. Thanks Kamila.

And why Agate, I can hear you asking!

I’ve received a beautiful lamp from Kamila for my birthday. She found bottle that had my surname on it what made it very personal and unique to me. It has a special place on my bedside table.
